"Rob C. was super informative and super helpful when my AC unit wasn’t cooling my house. He helped recommend a couple of fixes - one was an immediate solution and one was a long term solution (more freon and new copper pipes) to keep my unit working longer/better (cleaning ducts). Hope I see him again if my HVAC unit messes up - (but I hope it doesn’t mess up any time soon, lol). 10/10 recommend. 😃"

"We were having issues with our HVAC unit and we called HEP about 2:00 p.m. They were able to send out a tech(Patrick McGraw) the same day(arrived around 4:30-5:00). Patrick diagnosed the issue immediately (clogged drain pipe) and cleared it. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He also advised ways to keep the drain clean. We got exemplary service. Thank you."

"Our AC went out when the highs were in the 90s outside and on a Friday night. It was difficult to find someone to come out on a Saturday, but we were able to schedule HEP online late Friday night. They didn’t make it to our house until later Saturday afternoon but they did make it. The call center called us at 11am and updated us on the time which I thought was nice so we didnt wait around all day waiting. Patrick was the technician that came to the house. He was very courteous and went right to work. He worked for awhile and then finally figured out what it was. He gave us some options but did not do a sales pitch which was a relief. We didnt want to think about upgrading right then. Just needed air. He was at the house for a little over 2 hours. The travel rate was $34 for the weekend and we ended up paying about $620 total for a new capacitor and a thorough cleaning. I think it was fair for the work and parts. Overall, HEP and Patrick was a lifesaver for a weekend call."

"This wasn’t my first experience with HEP, but it was the first time I trusted them with such a large project. I wish I could say everything went perfectly, but in an imperfect world, things happen. We had our heat pump replaced and a completely new duct system installed. There was a hiccup along the way, but once management was made aware, they addressed it quickly and corrected the issue. The full installation—new heat pump and ductwork throughout the home—took five days to complete. What impressed me most was the team from start to finish: the crew who quoted, inspected, and completed the job were all outstanding professionals. I even had a plumber come out to repair a leak in my kitchen sink, and that process was smooth and hassle-free. I want to extend my thanks to everyone who helped resolve our concerns and ensured we were completely satisfied: Braden, Abby, Marissa, Don (QA), Doug and Gared (the best crew there is), and Brett Nicely (plumber). Thank you all for your commitment to quality and customer satisfaction—it truly made a difference."

Comprehensive Heating and Air Conditioning Duct Cleaning in Tennessee

Keeping ductwork clean is essential for efficient HVAC performance and healthy indoor air. HEP’s professional duct cleaning service targets the hidden buildup inside heating and cooling systems throughout Tennessee, removing dust, allergens, and other contaminants that compromise comfort and efficiency.

Why Tennessee Homes and Businesses Need Duct Cleaning

  • Pollen, pet dander, and everyday dust settle in supply and return ducts
  • Humid southern summers can encourage mold growth inside HVAC components
  • Blocked or dirty ducts make furnaces and air conditioners work harder, increasing energy use
  • Cleaner ducts help protect occupants with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory concerns

Key Benefits of Choosing HEP for HVAC Duct Cleaning

  • Improved indoor air quality by reducing airborne particles
  • Enhanced system efficiency that supports consistent temperatures year-round
  • Reduced wear on blowers, coils, and filters, extending equipment life
  • Fresher smelling living and working spaces without lingering odors

The HEP Duct Cleaning Process

1. Thorough Inspection

HEP technicians begin with a detailed visual and camera-assisted inspection of the entire duct network, including supply trunks, returns, registers, and plenums. This step identifies problem areas such as accumulated dust, debris, or microbial growth.

2. Advanced Containment and Negative Pressure

Specialized HEPA-filtered vacuums create negative pressure inside the ductwork, preventing loosened particles from escaping into occupied areas of the building.

3. Mechanical Agitation and Extraction

Rotary brushes and compressed-air whips dislodge stubborn buildup from metal and flex ducts. The dislodged material is immediately captured by high-powered extraction equipment.

4. Optional Sanitizing Treatments

For ducts affected by moisture or microbial contamination, EPA-registered sanitizers can be applied to inhibit future mold or bacterial growth.

5. Post-Service Report

Upon completion, homeowners and facility managers receive a detailed summary showing before-and-after images and recommendations for maintaining cleaner ducts.
